Knowing is an upcoming 2009 science fiction film directed by Alex Proyas. The main protagonist of the movie is played by Nicolas Cage of Bangkok Dangerous, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Lord of War fame. The film is scheduled to be released on March 20, 2009. The story of the movie revolves around a professor (Cage) who finds that the contents of a time capsule at his son's elementary school make predictions of the future that have come true. The predictions lead the teacher to believe that the world is ending, and that he and his son are involved in the apocalypse. I wouldn't want to tell you more about the movie. Just watch the trailer and enjoy.

I was so intrigued by this film when I saw the trailer, so when my sister came home with it in her hand, we got ready for movie night! It started out very interesting; it was so intense! But then...
ReplyDeleteThe ending sucked. Seriously. It ruined the whoooole thing for me. You were expecting something major, something awesome, because that was how the rest of the movie was! But then I (and my other two movie buddies) sensed it going downhill at exactly the same time, because we knew there was no way they could wrap it up without it either being anti-climatic or completely insane. And it was both! WOOHOO. >_>
So yeah... I would not recommend this one. :p
