Astro Boy is a 2009 American computer-animated 3-D film based on the highly successful Japanese franchise of the same name by Osamu Tezuka. It's slated to release on October 23, 2009. Freddie Highmore will provide the voice for the character of Astro Boy in the movie. Nicolas Cage (Bangkok Dangerous, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Lord of War) and Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marsall, Gosspi Girl, Heores) amongst others would voice other characters in the movie.
